Sports Nutrition for Endurance Athletes Seminar - May 31
Are your nutrition demands for training and racing being met? The MOJO Tri-Club will have a seminar with RCGC Vice President Ryan Smith that will help answer this and other nutrition related questions for endurance athletes. Whether you are a triathlete, distance runner or someone who just demands more from their body during your normal daily activities, this seminar is for you. Plan to join them at 7:00 pm in the Senior Center of the Mason Community Center on Thursday evening, May 31.
Find out the physiology and science behind nutrition for endurance athletes. Why do 75-85% of endurance athletes have GI distress during their event? What do you eat and use for fuel during training, leading up to a major event, & your race day nutrition. Concepts behind hydration and dehydration, sports drinks, gels, and cubes. Throw out all the “marketing hype” to learn how all those chemicals affect the body. Contact Ryan Smith by email ryan@personalimpactfitness.com or call (859) 652-3839 for more information.
