RCGC Grand Prix Update April 2022

 The Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati is doing a Grand Prix Series in 2022. The goal of the Grand Prix is to include and recognize members that do many of the races that the club puts on, supports or races that support the club. So far three races have been run  and about 25 club members have participated in at least one Grand Prix Race.  Next race in the series are  the Flying Pig Events.  Below are the top six males and females through the RCGC Dogwood Dash. Online Registration Open For Memorial Day Race 46

Online registration is now open for Memorial Day Race 46 - Cincinnati's second oldest race behind the Thanksgiving Day Race.  The race is put on by the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati and proceeds go to support running in the Greater Cincinnati area.  Register now.

RACE DETAILS
  • DATE: Monday, May 30, 2022 - Open to All. 
  • TIME: 9:00 AM. 
  • PLACE: England-Idlewild Park, Burlington KY. 
  • PRE-REGISTRATION: ends Friday, May 27th, 2022. 
  • COST:  $15 General Public and $10 RCGC Members in good standing / 21 and Under. Short Sleeve T-shirts: $8.00  
  • COURSE: 5k course around the paths of England-Idlewild Park. For 2022, there will be hills.
  • OTHER: Register online.

2021 RCGC Grand Prix Winners

 Here are the 2021 RCGC Grand Prix Winners.  The goal of the Grand Prix was to include and recognize members that do many of the races that the club puts on, supports or supports us.  About 30 club members participated in at least one Grand Prix Race for 2019.

  Awards will be given to the top overall Male and Female, Top Male and Female in the Youngster Category(29 & Under) Submasters Category(30 -39), Masters(40-49), GrandMaster(50-59) Legends(60-69) Categories and Still Looking Good(70 and over). For 2021, Scoring was based on any best 5  races(either A or B),  and two B Races. Below is a list of the award winners for the 2021 Grand Prix.  Special  awards are given to those who score over 500 points in the Grand Prix and known as the 500 Club. They will be recognized at a future Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati Event.   Congratulations to everyone.
