The next RCGC Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday October 4 at the Foot Doctor at 5521 Montgomery Road in Norwood OH at 7:30 PM. The meeting is open to all current RCGC members.

Tuesday Night Turtles Group Run begins October 3

Starting this Tuesday October 3, the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati will be having a group run for the slower runners called the Tuesday Night Turtles.  Pace will be 10 minutes and slower per mile.  Meet in Tower Park by the Tennis Courts at 6:30 PM. Routes will be between 2 to 4 miles. All paces are welcome as long as you can run slower than a 10 minute mile. For more information, contact us at cincinnatirunning@gmail.com.
Group Run Details:

• DATE: Begins Tuesday, October 3, 2017 and every Tuesday through the rest of 2017.
• TIME: 6:30 PM. 
• PLACE: Tower Park, Ft. Thomas KY.  Meet by the shelter near the tennis courts. 
• INFO: Starting Tuesday October 3 and every Tuesday through 2017, the Runners' Club will be having a group run for the slower runners called the Tuesday Night Turtles. Meet in Tower Park in Ft. Bean Bash Dash - October 5

Come to the Bean Bash Dash on Thursday Night on October 5 at 6:30 pm at Turfway Park. $20 per person. Registration includes admission to the Bean Bash Celebration on Saturday October 7 beginning at 1:00PM on the second floor. The Race begins and ends ON the Turfway Park track with registration located in the paddock area. No pets or strollers please.  The Bean Bash Dash is part of the Bean Bash, a fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics of NKY, Redwood, BAWAC and New Perceptions.  Visit http://beanbash.org for more information.

Online Registration Open For 2017 Ault Park Mile

Online registration is open for the 2017 Ault Park Mile  which is held on October 29, 2017.  Top Three  Male and Top Three  Female Runners get awards. Also age group awards are given for the Top Male and Top Female in the following Age Groups: 12 & Under,13-18,  19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over.

RCGC Grand Prix Update - September 2017

Scores have been updated for the 2017 RCGC Grand Prix through the 4th Race of the RCGC Cross Country Series.(View Standings) using official scoring.  Official scoring is based on your best 7 races run(either A, B, C), your next best B race, and a C race.  The goal of the Grand Prix is to include and recognize members that do many of the races that the club puts on or supports. So far, about 75 club members have participated in at least one Grand Prix Race.
 Upcoming races in the RCGC Grand Prix include the the Brewery Run 14k/7k Run, Tarangini 5k and the Bean Bash Dash.

Tarangini 5k Run/Walk - September 17

The Tarangini 5K Run or Walk features a 5K course starting at Corwin M Nixon Park in Mason, OH and loops through the trails of Pine Hill Park. Pre-registered participants receive T-Shirts and awards for the top 3 competitors. Proceeds benefit the Common Ground project in Mason, OH a playground for children with physical disabilities.
