The 34th Annual Valentine’s Labor of Love 2 Mile Run has a  few shirts left over from Sunday's race.  They are white and long sleeve with a two color front and a one color back listing the race sponsors. We have Small, Medium, Large, XL and even XXL. If you would like a shirt from the 2014 race, you can get them over at the Valentine Labor of Love Online Registration (Click on the store tab).  They will be available for purchase through February 28. 34th Annual Valentine’s Labor of Love 2 Mile Run Recap and Results

Start of the 2014 Labor of Love Run

About 150 runners and walkers participated in the 34th Annual Valentine's Labor of Love 2 Mile Run this past Sunday February 16th in cloudy, cold, wet and windy conditions. The course was wet but manageable.  Daryl Parks of Frankfort KY was the top overall finisher with a time of 10:44 followed by Eric Van Laningham of Burlington Kentucky who ran a 10:51. Julia Temple of Cincinnati OH was the top female with a time of 12:56 followed by Kamaria Walton who ran a 13:16. The top overall mixed couple were the Father Daughter duo of Landen and Collier Summay aka Team Summay with 13 points closely followed by the Father Daughter duo of William and Julia Temple who had 14 points. The top single male runner was Roger Middleton who ran a 10:55 and the top single female runner was Meredith Hiles who ran a 14:18. (Race Results ).

34th Annual Valentine's 2 Mile Labor of Love This Sunday February 16

This Sunday February 16 is the 34th Annual Valentine's Labor of Love 2 Mile Run. Please join us whether you have a valentine or not (If you don't have a valentine, we can help find you one in the Blind Date Category). This will be a lot of fun.
Plenty of awards, music, and food. Race starts at noon at NKU. Race Day Registration opens at 10:30 AM in Regents Hall. Cost is $25.00(Includes T-shirt while supplies last). You can also sign-up at Packet Pick Up on Saturday February 15 from Bob Roncker's Running Spot in Newport KY from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for $20.00. For more information, visit the race information page.

• PLACE: Regents Hall,Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights, KY.
• RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Registration opens at 10:30 AM at Regents Hall Northern Kentucky University. $25 - no discounts
• PACKET PICK-UP: The Running Spot, Newport, KY, Saturday, February 15, 1:00 - 3:00 PM or at NKU day of race. Avoid the lines on race day. If you have not registered, you can sign-up on Saturday for $20, and guarantee yourself a shirt.
• DIRECTIONS TO NKU: 471 ends at 27, go straight through light. Turn right at next light by the sign saying Northern Kentucky University (NKU). Take first right, then first left. Parking available in the Garage across from the Albright Health Center(HC).  View Campus Map.
• COURSE: 2 mile course - Start is right by the Kenton Garage, and the finish is right in the front of the  Albright Health Center.

Early Registration Ends Today for the Valentine's Two Mile Labor of Love Run

Today is the last day to to register for the 34th Annual Valentine's Two Mile Labor of Love Run, one of greater Cincinnati's more unique races. The deadline for Mail entries ended yesterday. Winter Wonderland 5k Run / Walk Cancelled for This Saturday February 8

After talking with Boone County parks on Thursday February 6, the trails are covered with snow and ice. Boone County Parks has closed the trail and will not allow us to hold the Winter Wonderland 5k race this Saturday, February 8th at 10:00am. The club will be calling all pre-registered race participants and posting notices on many sites, including emails to go out. We are very sorry for the inconvenience but it is out of the RCGC's hands at this point. Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.

Winter Wonderland 5k Run / Walk - this Saturday February 8

Join the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati at the Winter Wonderland 5k Run / Walk this Saturday, February 8th at 10:00 a.m. at England / Idlewild Park in Burlington KY. The top 25 males and top 25 females to cross the finish line will receive a 16oz commemorative glass mug! Race Day Registration opens at 8:30 AM at the shelter #1 which is on the left as you come in the park. Race starts at 10:00 AM. See you there! You still have time to sign up early and beat the price increase.
