Move Cincinnati Inaugeral Run - September 28
Move Cincinnati is a new concept in the Cincinnati Running Scene. A movement of athletes in pursuit of experiencing city-wide community in
their athletic adventures and giving back to the city of Cincinnati. One of the first things that they will be doing is a Run the last Sunday of the Month and where they come together.
Let's come together as one united Cincinnati running community! The goal is simple--to unify the strong athletic community and to give back to the city.
They will celebrate the last Sunday of every month with a free run hosted by different groups throughout the city. This is not about allegiances or promotions, it is about coming together to share something we all love--RUNNING! The first run will be this Sunday September 28 at 4:00 PM at Fountain Square. Four, six and eight mile routes will be provided. Stick around after the run for festivities. All fitness levels are encouraged to attend. For more information, visit the Facebook Page.

The Extremely Unofficial Cincinnati Mile Series
With not much to do this past Labor Day weekend, most people would go to a park, enjoy the outdoors, run or some other fun activity. Instead, I decided to see how I ranked in the Extremely Unofficial Cincinnati Mile Series. Currently, the series consists of mile races. As of right now, there are only 3 mile races that I know of - the Little Kings Mile in May, the Madeira Mile on July 3 and the Harvest Home Fair Mile on September 4. So far 2 of the 3 mile races have been run and here are the current standings:
Next mile race will be the Harvest Home Fair Mile which is this Thursday September 4 at 6:00 PM.
