2016 Queen City Invitational this Saturday September 3
The Queen City Invitational is an opportunity to see the University of Cincinnati, Xavier University and Northern Kentucky University cross country runners race without a drive out of town. Come out and see the top upcoming young local distance runners compete against each other. 2016 marks the 35th year that the meet has been held. The Dam Mile Is Just What It Seems!
Help Sedamsville celebrate and generate awareness around their community's greatest assets and run just one mile with views of the Ohio River. There will be 3 1-mile races in August, September and October in the beautiful community of Sedamsville. Come out to run with family, or race against others and your own personal record. RCGC Mile Series Update - August 2016
The Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati will be doing a Mile Series in 2016 as part of being around for 40 years. It will include at least 10 1 mile races throughout the year and the top 7 of them will be scored. Awards will be given to the top overall Male and Female, and Top Male and Female in the Following Age Groups based on their top seven mile races:
29 & Under, 30-39, Masters(40-49), Grand Masters(50-59) and Legends(60 & over)

2016 Midsummer Night's Run Recap
About 45 runners braved the hills, the mud, the ditch, and the bugs this past Thursday August 18 for A Midsummer Night's Run in Lower Millcrest Park. Weather for the Thursday evening run was cloudy and humid with light rain at the start. About 5 minutes in the sky opened up with a realtively heavy rain. Despite the rain, the 5k European Style Cross Country course at Lower Millcrest was in good condition
Carlos Martinez from Granada Spain was the top male and top finisher with a time of 20:27 Top female was Kamaria Walton of Milford OH with a time of 23:20 followed by Maddie Baker who ran a 23:42.(View results).

Harvest Home Fair 5k Back for 2016.
After a few years of being on hiatus, the Harvest Home Fair 5k returns in 2016 on Sunday September 11 at Harvest Home Fair Park in Cheviot at 10:00 AM as part of the Harvest Home Fair. This is a UNIQUE Saturday night event, beginning at 6pm on August 27, and finishing with a party on the Newport riverfront with live music from the Naked Karate Girls band. Net proceeds from the event will be shared among six local charities.

2016 RCGC Grand Prix August Update
Scores have been updated for the 2016 RCGC Grand Prix through the RCGC Heat Blister Mile.(View Standings) using official scoring. Official scoring is based on your best 7 races run(either A, B, C), your next best B race, and a C race. The goal of the Grand Prix is to include and recognize members that do many of the races that the club puts on or supports. So far, about 70 club members have participated in at least one Grand Prix Race.
Upcoming races in the RCGC Grand Prix include the Brian Rohne Cross Country Run on August 9, the final race of the RCGC Cross Country Series on August 11 and A Midsummer Night's Run on August 18.
