2018 Winter Wonderland Run Results

Here are race results from the 2018 Winter Wonderland Run on Sunday January 21 at Fernbank Park. Due to a missed turnaround, actual distance ended up being about 3.70 Miles for the race. We threw out any time under 24 minutes based on the possibility of running 3.7 miles on the course in its current condition especially with the nature trail featuring snow and ice. (Last year's top time would have been 24:33 for 3.7 miles in better course conditions).

2018 Winter Wonderland Run This Sunday January 21

This Sunday January 21 is the RCGC Winter Wonderland Run. It will be a 5k Run/Walk around the paths and trails of Fernbank Park.
Race Day Registration and Number Pickup will open at noon at the Riverview Shelter just inside the park.

2017 Grand Prix Update

Scores have been updated for the 2017 Grand Prix for all races in 2017. Check your score to be sure that it is updated correctly.   Official standings will be announced in early February.  Awards will be given to the top overall Male and top overall Female, and Top Male and Female in the Following Age Groups based on official scoring:
Youngsters (Age 29 & Under), SubMasters (Age 30-39), Masters(Age 40-49), GrandMasters(Age 50-59), and Legends(60 & Over).

Join The 2018 RCGC Heart Mini Team

The Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati has a team participating at the 41st Annual Heart Mini-Marathon. For joining the team, you get access to the club's Heart Mini Suite where you can put your stuff and no need to share bathrooms with 15,000 participants. You can sign up to be part of the team at this year's (March 17th - March 18th) run/walk events by identifying yourself as part of Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati while registering. You can also join from our team page.  If filling out a paper form indicate Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati  as your team.   The 15k and Half Marathon begin at 7:30 AM this year and the 5k begins at 10:30 AM.

Winter Wonderland Run - January 21

Join the Runner's Club of Greater Cincinnati at our annual winter 5k run / walk at Fernbank Park on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Fernbank Park is located along the Ohio River off US Route 50 in the Cincinnati community of Sayler Park.
The race starts at 1:00 PM, with race day registration beginning at noon at the Riverview Shelter inside the Park. Preregistration is $10.00 for RCGC members / 23 & Under and $15.00 for the general public. Register online at www.runsignup.com through January 18.
Race day registration will be $15.00 for Club members / 23 & Under and $20.00 for general public.
Awards will go to the top three overall male runners and top 3 overall female runners, top male and female walker, and top male and female runners in the following age groups: 18 & Under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ . Tuesday Night Group Run Moves to Covington KY

Starting this Tuesday January 9, the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati group run for the slower runners called the Tuesday Night Turtles moves to Covington KY.    Meet in front of Braxton Brewery at 6:30 PM. Routes will be between 2 to 4 miles. All paces are welcome as long as you can run slower than a 10 minute mile. For more information, contact us at cincinnatirunning@gmail.com.
