2023 Winter Wonderland Run Rescheduled For February 26

 The Winter Wonderland Run that was canceled this past Sunday is rescheduled for Sunday, February 26, 2023  at 1:00 PM at Fernbank Park. Online registration has been reopened until Friday February 24.  Race Day Registration opens at Noon and race is at 1:00 PM. • RACE NUMBER PICKUP: Race Numbers can be picked up on Race Day at the Riverview Shelter inside Fernbank Park beginning at Noon. 
• COURSE: 5k Course along the paths and trails of Fernbank Park. Be prepared to run on concrete, wood, asphalt, cobblestone, grass, dirt, gravel and possibly mud, and snow.  No strollers allowed on the course due to terrain.

2023 Winter Wonderland Run Cancelled For Today January 22

 Due to the poor road conditions in Greater Cincinnati, poor course conditions, and after discussions with a couple of people, we are cancelling the Winter Wonderland Run for today January 22,2023 at Fernbank Park.

We will look to see if we can reschedule for a later date(either February 12 or February 26). Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.

2023 Winter Wonderland Run this Sunday January 22

 

This Sunday January 22 is the RCGC Winter Wonderland Run. It will be a 5k Run/Walk around the paths and trails of Fernbank Park.

Race Number Pickup will open at noon at the Riverview Shelter just inside the park. Registration is available at runsignup.com through January 22, 2023 until 12:59 pm.

Volunteer Opportunities - Winter 2023

  Here are some upcoming opportunities where you can help out the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati. If you can help out with any of these events, we would greatly appreciate it:

•  Winter Wonderland Run - The Winter Wonderland Run needs 10-15 volunteers to help with registration, timing, and post race on January 22. It would take 1-2 hours of your time. The jobs are easy and you will get a few other goodies. Volunteering is one of the easiest ways to get to know other club members. Let us know whether you can help by emailing us at cincinnatirunning@gmail.com or sign up at the online registration page. 
• Ongoing Openings - Currently we have few openings for keeping the club running on an ongoing basis: Treasurer, and Social Chair. Most positions take 2-3 hours a month of your time. If you can or would like to fulfill one of these positions, please send an email to cincinnatirunning@gmail.com or attend the next board meeting on February 6.

2023 Winter Wonderland Run - January 22

 Join the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati at their annual winter 5k run / walk at Fernbank Park on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Fernbank Park is located along the Ohio River off US Route 50 in the Cincinnati community of Sayler Park.

The race starts at 1:00 PM, with race number pickup beginning at noon at the Riverview Shelter inside the Park. Preregistration is $12.00 for RCGC members / 23 & Under and $17.00 for the general public. Register online at www.runsignup.com through January 20.
Awards will go to the top three overall male runners and top 3 overall female runners, top male and female walker, and top male and female runners in the following age groups: 18 & Under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ . Food and drinks will be provided to all participants after the race.Register Now.
