RCGC Grand Prix Returns for 2026

 The Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati Grand Prix Series returns for 2026! The RCGC Grand Prix includes and recognizes many of the races that the club and it members direct, support, started, or helped start. It includes several popular and unique races in Cincinnati that the club and its members have supported over the years.

For 2026, 9 races will be scored which includes your top 7 races and plus two B Races.  Awards will be given to the top overall Male and Female, and Top Male and Female in the Following Age Groups -  Youngsters(29&Under), Submasters (30-39), Masters(40-49), GrandMasters(50-59), Legends(60-69) and StillLookingGood(70 & over).  The 2026 Grand Prix will feature the 700 Club – Any member who scores over 700 points in the 2026 Grand Prix receives a commemorative award. The Cost to run in the RCGC Grand Prix is an RCGC Membership.  First Race in the Series is the Winter Wonderland Run on February 22, 2026.  About the RCGC Grand Prix.  

Winter Wonderland Run - this Sunday February 22

 This Sunday February 22, 2026 is the  RCGC Winter Wonderland Run. It will be a 5k Run/Walk around the paths and trails of Fernbank Park.

Race Number Pickup will open at 11:00 AM at the Riverview Shelter just inside the park. Registration is available at runsignup.com through February 22, 2026 until 11:59 am.

RACE DETAILS

• DATE: Sunday, February 22, 2026
• TIME: 12:05 PM - Note change in time. 
• PLACE: Fernbank Park, Cincinnati OH. 
• PRE-REGISTRATION: $17- General Public and $12 - RCGC Members / 23 & Under. Register online at www.cincinnatirunning.com. Ends Friday, February 20, 2026.  Shirts available for 15.00. 
  
• RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Available at runsignup.com through February 22, 2026, until 11:59 am. $22 - General Public & 17 - RCGC Members / 23 & Under.  Shirts available for $20.00.  
• RACE NUMBER PICKUP: Race Numbers can be picked up on Race Day at the Riverview Shelter inside Fernbank Park beginning at 11:00 am. 
• COURSE: 5k Course along the paths and trails of Fernbank Park. Be prepared to run on concrete, wood, asphalt, cobblestone, grass, dirt, gravel and possibly mud, and snow.  No strollers allowed on the course due to terrain.

Volunteer Opportunities - Winter 2026

     Here are some upcoming opportunities where you can help out the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati. If you can help out with any of these events, we would greatly appreciate it:

•  Winter Wonderland Run - The Winter Wonderland Run needs another 5-10 volunteers to help with registration, timing, and post race on February 22. It would take 1-2 hours of your time. The jobs are easy and you will get a few other goodies. Volunteering is one of the easiest ways to get to know other club members. Let us know whether you can help by emailing us at cincinnatirunning@gmail.com or sign up at the online registration page. 
• Currently we have few openings for keeping the club running on an ongoing basis: Vice President, Social Media, and Social Chair. Most positions take 2-3 hours a month of your time. If you can or would like to fulfill one of these positions, please send an email to cincinnatirunning@gmail.com or attend the next board meeting on March 9.

2025 RCGC Grand Prix Update

  Scores have been updated for the 2025 Grand Prix. Check your score to be sure that it is updated correctly.   Official results will be announced in March.  Awards will be given to the top overall Male and top overall Female, and Top Male and Female in the Following Age Groups based on official scoring:

Youngsters (Age 29 & Under), SubMasters (Age 30-39), Masters(Age 40-49), GrandMasters(Age 50-59), Legends(60-69), and StillLookingGood(70 & Over).
