2024 Grand Prix Update

    Scores have been updated for the 2024 Grand Prix. Check your score to be sure that it is updated correctly.   Official results will be announced in March.  Awards will be given to the top overall Male and top overall Female, and Top Male and Female in the Following Age Groups based on official scoring:

Youngsters (Age 29 & Under), SubMasters (Age 30-39), Masters(Age 40-49), GrandMasters(Age 50-59), Legends(60-69), and StillLookingGood(70 & Over).

Volunteer Opportunities - Winter 2025

    Here are some upcoming opportunities where you can help out the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati. If you can help out with any of these events, we would greatly appreciate it:

•  Winter Wonderland Run - The Winter Wonderland Run needs another 5-10 volunteers to help with registration, timing, and post race on February 13. It would take 1-2 hours of your time. The jobs are easy and you will get a few other goodies. Volunteering is one of the easiest ways to get to know other club members. Let us know whether you can help by emailing us at cincinnatirunning@gmail.com or sign up at the online registration page. 
• Currently we have few openings for keeping the club running on an ongoing basis: Vice President, Social Media, and  Social Chair. Most positions take 2-3 hours a month of your time. If you can or would like to fulfill one of these positions, please send an email to cincinnatirunning@gmail.com or attend the next board meeting on March 10

  Check out the club calendar for Cincinnati Road Races. It includes 5Ks, 10Ks, Marathons, Half Marathons, and about any other distance that you could imagine running. It includes Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati events, and a few regional and national races but mainly Cincinnati and Northern KY local road races. Online Registration Open For 2025 Winter Wonderland Run

 Online registration is open for the 2024 Winter Wonderland Run which is Sunday, February 11,2024.  Awards given to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Runners. Also age group awards are given for the Top Male and Top Female in the following Age Groups: 18 & Under,19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over.

 Online registration available at runsignup.com through February 23, 2024 until 11:59 am.

RACE DETAILS

• DATE: Sunday, February 23,2025
• TIME: 12:00 PM. 
• PLACE: Fernbank Park, Cincinnati OH. 
• PRE-REGISTRATION: $17- General Public and $12 - RCGC Members / 23 & Under. Register online at www.cincinnatirunning.com. Ends Thursday, February 20, 2024. 
• RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Available at runsignup.com through February 23,2024 until 11:59 Am. $22 - General Public & 17 - RCGC Members / 23 & Under
• RACE NUMBER PICKUP: Race Numbers can be picked up on Race Day at the Riverview Shelter inside Fernbank Park beginning at noon. 
• COURSE: 5k Course along the paths and trails of Fernbank Park. Be prepared to run on concrete, wood, asphalt, cobblestone, grass, dirt, gravel and possibly mud, and snow.  No strollers allowed on the course due to terrain.

2024 Thanksgiving Day Races In Greater Cincinnati

2024 Halloween Races In Greater Cincinnati

   Any kid knows that October 31 is Halloween which means food and dressing up in costume.  If you can not wait that long, there are few Halloween themed races throughout the month of October to get you in the Halloween spirit.  Here are a few of them, check the club calendar for a few more.

• HJWL Run For Your Bones 5k, Saturday October 19, 9:00 am, Municipal Brew Works, Hamilton OH. We all have that giving feeling inside our bones!  Come join the first ever Hamilton Junior Women’s League 5k run.  The money raised from the event benefits charitable organizations serving women and children in the Butler County area.  So, come on out and shake your hips and rattle your bones and have a fun day! Visit the race information page for more information.
• Monster Mash & Dash 5k  Walk/Run, Saturday October 19, 4:00 pm, Clinton Massie Campus, Clarksville OH. Wear costume during the run. Registration includes access to trunk or treat after the run. • Running Scared 5k, Saturday October 19, 6:00 PM, Veteran's Memorial Stadium, 1600 West Street, Reading OH - A flat 3.1 mile course through a “spooky” cemetery, ending at a fabulous Halloween Fest!  Participants are encouraged to run/walk in costumes. After the race, people are admitted to the post race party where they can listen to a hot band or have a cold beer.
