Strides For STARS 5k Run / Walk - April 13

The Strides for STARS 5K Run / Walk takes place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 at Dixie Heights High School, 3010 Dixie Hwy in Crestview Hills KY. Lisa Cooney from WLWT-TV will be back by popular demand to emcee the event. Course starts and ends at Dixie Heights High School. The race raises funds for STARS - St. Elizabeth Hospice children’s grief support program. Cost is $25 for adults and $15 for participants age 17 and younger during preregistration; Registration on race day costs $30 for adults and $20 for those under 17.

• COURSE: Course begins at Dixie Heights High School and winds through the scenic neighborhood across from the Crestview Hills Town Center.
• AWARDS: First overall Male and Female runner.
  Also to the top finisher in the following age divisions
  Run Divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
  Walk Divisions: 39 and under, 40-59, 60 and over.
• REGISTRATION: Preregistration available through Monday April 8 for Mail In Registration. Online registration available through Thursday April 13. Raceday Registration opens at 7:30 AM and ends about 9:00 AM at Dixie Heights High School.
