2017 RCGC Cross Country Series Race #2 Recap

The 2017 RCGC Cross Country Series  second race was this past Thursday July 27 at Lower Millcrest Park in Norwood.  About 10 runners(mostly male) showed up to race on the 2 mile course that was in pretty good shape despite the early morning rain (View photos).  Race conditions featured humidity and dark clouds in the north and clear blue skies in the south. A slight rain started to fall about midway through the race.  The good news is that all the runners finished before the skies opened up and serious rain came.  Top male was the bare footed Seth Streitmatter who ran an 11:39 over the hilly course.   Join us next Thursday August 3 at Lower Millcrest Park in Norwood at 7:00 PM for the third race in the RCGC Urban Cross Country Series.
