2019 Ault Park Mile This Sunday November 17

This Sunday November 17 is the Ault Park Mile. Please join us on a unique mile course around the Ault Park Circle. Race Day Registration opens at 9:00 AM at the shelter in the circle and near the former soccer field. Race Day Cost  is $15.00 General Public,  $10 Age 21 and Under / RCGC Members. Race starts at 10:00 AM. See you there!

2019 Thanksgiving Day Races In Greater Cincinnati

It is about three weeks to go until Thanksgiving and before you sit down and eat, you can do a run or walk.  There are quite a few races on Thanksgiving Day in the Greater Cincinnati Area and most likely one near where you live. • Deerfield Township and Lifetime Fitness 10K on Turkey Day and 5K Walk, 8:00 AM, Lifetime Fitness Deerfield Twp OH - Run the Deerfield Township and Lifetime Fitness "10K on Turkey Day"! The 10K race and 5K walk will begin and end at Lifetime Fitness.  They start early so you can get the race in and get on with your day. Race Information.

Volunteers Needed For RCGC Ault Park Mile

The RCGC Ault Park needs 5-10 volunteers to help with registration, timing, and post race on Sunday November 17. It would take 1-2 hours of your time. The jobs are easy and you will get the commemorative Ault Park Mile shirt plus a few other goodies. Volunteering is one of the easiest ways to get to know other club members. RCGC Grand Prix Update - October 2019

The Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati is doing a Grand Prix Series in 2019. The Grand Prix includes many of the races that the club puts on or supports or races that support the club. Scores have been updated through the Bean Bash Dash using official scoring.  Official Scoring is your best 7 races plus your next best B Race, and a C Race.  About 60 club members have participated in one Grand Prix Race.  Next races in the series are  the Mason Run To Erase Epilepsy 5k on November 2, Ault Park Mile on November 17 and Straight Street Climb on November 24.   Visit the RCGC Grand Prix page for more information about the Grand Prix. The Ault Park Mile is back for 2019 on Sunday November 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM!  Please join the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati on a unique mile course around the Observatory Circle in one of Cincinnati's most popular parks. Awards given to the Top Three Male and Top Three Female Runners. Also age group awards are given for the Top Male and Top Female in the following Age Groups: 12 & Under,13-18,  19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over.

2019 Halloween Races in Greater Cincinnati

Any kid knows that October 31 is Halloween which means food and dressing up in costume.  If you can not wait that long, there are few Halloween themed races throughout the month of October to get you in the Halloween spirit.   Here are a few of them, check the club calendar for a few more.

• Running Scared 5k, Saturday October 12, 6:00 PM, Veteran's Memorial Stadium, 1600 West Street, Reading OH - A flat 3.1 mile course through a “spooky” cemetery, ending at a fabulous Halloween Fest!  Participants are encouraged to run/walk in costumes. After the race, people are admitted to the post race party where they can listen to a hot band or have a cold beer. They can enjoy food and drinks from generous sponsors and listen to the live jammin’ band while they stay toasty warm inside or gather around the roaring fire outside.  Proceeds benefit Youth Education.  Visit www.runningscared5k.org for more information.

Skid Row Marathon - One Night Only - October 14

The Award-winning documentary Skid Row Marathon is about a criminal court judge who organizes a running club comprised of homeless, recovering alcoholic and paroled men and women on LA’s Skid Row who seek to rediscover their sense of self-worth and dignity. View Trailer
