Runs with Beer

For the next couple of weeks, the Greater Cincinnati area has a few races that prominently feature beer.  Here are a few of them over the next couple of weeks:

• St. Timothy Oktoberfest 5k Twilight Run, Saturday September 15 6:15 PM, St. Timothy Church, Union KY - Part of the Church's Oktoberfest celebration. It's got Oktoberfest in the title which might be German for beer. Visit www.runningtime.net for more information.

• Cincinnati Beer Run, Friday September 28 7:00 PM, Newport on the Levee, Newport KY - Part of the Newport Oktoberfest, the Cincinnati Beer Run celebrates a renaissance of the rich brewing history that once defined the Queen City area. Visit http://americanbeerrun for more information
• Lite Lope 5k Run / Walk, Saturday September 29, 2012 9:00 AM, MillerCoors Brewery, Trenton OH - Held at a brewery between Middletown and Hamilton, they give you a free case of beer if you are over 21 and you win your age group(They did when I ran it about 5 years ago).
