Here are a couple of updates about the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati's involvement in the 19th Annual Flying Pig Marathon. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
Club Fluid Station - The Club has a Flying Pig Fluid Station
at mile 22. This is one of our largest volunteer opportunities of the
year. We need about 40 volunteers; so please volunteer today. Volunteers
receive a free t-shirt courtesy of the pig, free food and drink at the
waterstop, the chance to socialize with other members in a relaxed
informal setting, and the free entertainment value of watching the Mile
22 Fluid Station Captain freak out over what could happen in 2017. The
2008 waterstop dealt with fire, 2009 dealt with no uplifting
music(Social Distortion is the last thing you want to hear at mile 22)
until the marathon unexpectedly came through with the DJ, 2010 dealt
with rain and flooding, 2011 dealt with being struck by lightning. If you're running the full marathon, ask family,
friends and coworkers to catch you at "Your water stop - Mile 22" or if
you enjoy to watch people suffer, mile 22 is definitely the place to be.
You can sign up to volunteer at our website or do the following:

Dan Bell Casting in Los Angeles, CA specializes in 'real people casting', and is currently working on a worldwide documentary project looking to talk with people who use wearable smart technology and have seen an improvement in their overall health and fitness.
If you or someone you might know wears smart tech devices to track their activity and that you could share the attached flyer with them.
Again, this project is a documentary project. This week they are having quick Skype sessions with everyone, only 10 minutes each. They are in the research phase of the project, and are very interested in knowing how people are using their wearable technology across the world!
Thank you so much - have a look at the attached flyer, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

Narrated by Academy Award® winner Matt Damon, BOSTON: An American Running Story tells the story of the oldest annually-contested marathon from its humble origin of 15 runners to the present day(View Trailer). Evolving from a working man’s challenge to welcoming foreign athletes and eventually women, the Boston Marathon is the stage for many firsts and helped pave the way for the modern marathon.
Following the tragic events of 2013, BOSTON records the preparations and running of the 118th Boston Marathon one year later, when runners and community gather in support of one another for what will be the most meaningful race of all.
BOSTON is more than a running documentary, it is a timeless story about triumph over adversity for runner and non-runner alike.
This one-night event features footage of the Boston Symphony Orchestra recording an original score composed by 4X Emmy Award®-winner Jeff Beal (House of Cards).
LA Roma Films is proud to partner with John Hancock Financial, The Kennedy/Marshall Company and The Boston Athletic Association to present BOSTON: An American Running Story.
Film will be shown in Theaters nationwide on April 19. Visit Fathom Events for local theater near you.
