20th Annual Brian Rohne Memorial 5k Run / Walk - August 9

Brian Rohne was the most valuable athlete for the Men's Cross Country team at Northern Kentucky University in 1992. Brian was fatally injured in January 1993 on a training run and the race is held in his name. The race raises money for the Northern Kentucky University Cross Country team. Pre-registration is $20.00 which includes a shirt. For Runners' Club members and those 18 and under pre-registration is $15.00 which includes a shirt. Race Day is $25 with the shirt while supplies last.

  • DISTANCE: 5k.

RCGC Urban Cross Country Series

The Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati along with the Norwood High School Cross Country Team brings free cross country runs to Lower Millcrest Park in Norwood Ohio. Every Thursday starting July 10th through August 21st , there will be a free 5k race at 7:30pm.  There will be a DJ, concessions, and T-shirts sold.   No entry fees unless you want your time recorded for posterity.

2014 RCGC Grand Prix Update - June

The Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati is doing a Grand Prix Series in 2014. The goal of the Grand Prix is to include and recognize members that do many of the races that the club puts on or supports. So far, about 60 club members have participated in at least one Grand Prix Race.
 The next race in the Grand Prix will be the  Madeira Mile which is Thursday July 3 followed by the RCGC Urban Summer Cross Country Series in July.
Below is a list of the top 5 male and female club members for scoring through the Memorial Day Race.  Scoring is based on your best 5 races(either A, B, C), your best B race, and your best C Race. (For a complete listing, go to www.cincinnatirunning.com.

2014 Don Wahle Summer Track & Field Games

These meets were started by Don Wahle and friends in the early 1960s and continued uninterrupted until 1996. Now they are back.
This year, beginning Monday, June 9  and continuing each Monday through July 7 track and field will be hosted at the track and field stadium at the Elder High School Panther Athletic Complex at 19154 Quebec Road. Free events and open to everyone regardless of age or ability.
