RCGC Volunteer Opportunities - August 2015

Here are some upcoming opportunities where you can help out the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati. If you can help out with any of these events, we would greatly appreciate it:
  1. A Midsummer Night's Run - A Midsummer Night's Run needs 10-15 volunteers to help with registration, course sentries, timing, post race, and cleanup. It would take 2-3 hours of your time. The jobs are easy and you will get the Midsummer Night Run Pint Glass race for your efforts. Volunteering is one of the easiest ways to get to know other club members. Let us know whether you can help by emailing us at cincinnatirunning@gmail.com or sign-up at the Midsummer Night Run Online Registration at runsignup.com and click the volunteer tab.
  2. Timing Crew - We have a few races coming up in the fall where we can use volunteer help with the  timing.  Upcoming Races are the Clark Montessori Invitational on August 25 and Norwood Invitational on September 5  Benefits include learning how to setup and use the chip timing system. If interested,  please email us at cincinnatirunning@gmail.com.
  3. Ongoing Openings - Currently we have few openings for keeping the club running on an ongoing basis:  Program Chair, and Newsletter Editor. Most positions take 2-3 hours a month of your time. If you can or would like to fulfill one of these positions, please send an email to cincinnatirunning@gmail.com or attend the next board meeting on August 5.
