Saturday December 6The Holiday In Lights Run returns in 2025. We will be meeting at the Works Pizza Company in Covington KY on Tuesday December 16 at 6:30 pm. Run is open to the public! We plan on taking a group photo before the run. After the run, we will be meeting at for drinks and appetizers. Food and drinks will be on the club.

The Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati is doing a Grand Prix Series in 2025. The goal of the Grand Prix is to include and recognize members that do many of the races that the club puts on, supports or races that support the club. So far about 15 races have been run and about 40 club members have participated in at least one Grand Prix Race. Next races in the Grand Prix are the Brewery Run and the Sue Harder 5k. Sue Harder passed away suddenly at the age of 58 in January 2021. She was a beloved member of the Fleet Feet Running Club. She was a very active runner who ran three marathons and countless half marathons. Her latest half marathon was just a few months before her passing. She was supportive of all new runners and was a friend and cheerleader to all her fellow runners.
The 2025 Sue Harder Memorial 5K is to be the fifth annual memorial run for Sue. The run will commemorate Sue by welcoming new friends and old for a 5K in her hometown in Cincinnati as well as virtually across the country. Proceeds will be donated to Girls on the Run. The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center take over historic Union Terminal for their annual Upstander 5K, Family Day & Upstander Volunteer Expo on June 29, 2025 at 8:30 am.
This year’s race is led by Kathrine Switzer, the first woman to officially register and run the Boston Marathon. In 1967, Switzer became the first woman to officially register and run the Boston Marathon. At a time when women were barred from competing, she fearlessly stepped up to the starting line. When a race official tried to forcibly remove her mid-course, she kept running — and in doing so, helped spark a global movement for women in sports.
Switzer will serve as the honorary Dr. Al Miller Race Marshal at the Upstander 5K, leading the race through Cincinnati’s West End and sharing her powerful story in a post-race conversation at 10 a.m. inside Union Terminal’s Reakirt Auditorium.

Saturday June 7Larremy Gray was the top male to cross the finish line with a time of 17:18 followed by Jacob Hanser who ran a 17:25. Keaton Lehman was third with a time of 19:11. The top female finisher was Peyton Dooloukas who ran an 19:59. Alyssa Dutton was the second female with a time of 20:47 and Nina Tibbs was third who ran a 20:57. Denny Chandler was the top male walker with a time of 43:49 and Ashley Burchett was the top female walker with a time of 40:43 (View Race Results).
This Monday May 26 is the Memorial Day Race, Cincinnati's second oldest race behind the Thanksgiving Day Race. Race Day Registration opens at 8:00 AM at the Spirit of '76 Shelter as you enter the park. Race Day Cost is $25.00 General Public, and $20 for those Age 21 and Under / RCGC Members. Memorial Day Race Shirts are $15 (Only size available is Extra Large). Race starts at 9:00 AM at Lunken Playfield. See you there!

Here are the 2024 RCGC Grand Prix Winners. The goal of the Grand Prix was to include and recognize members that do many of the races that the club puts on, supports or supports us. About 50 club members participated in at least one Grand Prix Race for 2023.
Awards will be given to the top overall Male and Female, Top Male and Female in the Youngster Category(29 & Under) Submasters Category(30 -39), Masters(40-49), GrandMaster(50-59) Legends(60-69) Categories and Still Looking Good(70 and over). For 2023, Scoring was based on any best 7 races(either A or B), and two B Races. Below is a list of the award winners for the 2024 Grand Prix. Special awards are given to those who score over 700 points in the Grand Prix and known as the 700 Club. They will be recognized at a future Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati Event. Sunday March 2About 25 runners and walkers competed in the 2025 Winter Wonderland Run this past Sunday February 23 in sunny, but cold conditions at Fernbank Park on the (Far) West Side of Cincinnati(View photos). The previous week flooding and freezing temperatures merited a course change due to ice and flooding in Fernbank Park. Runners and walkers travailed a relatively flat almost 3 mile course along the Ohio River. Jenny Kane of Guilford IN was the top finisher and top female with a time of 23:10. Top Male and second place over all was Eric Bender of Montgomery OH who ran a 24:44. (View Race Results ).Thank you to our sponsors Fleet Feet Cincinnati for the awards, and 13 Below Brewery for use of their parking lot. The Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati Grand Prix Series returns for 2025! The RCGC Grand Prix includes and recognizes many of the races that the club and it members direct, support, started, or helped start. It includes several popular and unique races in Cincinnati that the club and its members have supported over the years.
For 2025, 10 races will be scored which includes your top 7 races and plus two B Races. Awards will be given to the top overall Male and Female, and Top Male and Female in the Following Age Groups - Youngsters(29&Under), Submasters (30-39), Masters(40-49), GrandMasters(50-59), Legends(60-69) and StillLookingGood(70 & over). The 2025 Grand Prix will feature the popular 700 Club – Any member who scores over 700 points in the 2025 Grand Prix receives a commemorative award. The Cost to run in the RCGC Grand Prix is an RCGC Membership. First Race in the Series is the Winter Wonderland Run on February 23,2025.
