The 45th Annual Summer RCGC Cross Country Series kicked off at Pattison Elementary in Milford this past Thursday June 14. For the first time since 1986, Stacy Osborne did not shoot the gun to start the race. About 40 runners showed up to race in comfortable conditions for a Thursday night in June. The 2 loop 3.1 mile was running fast. JJ Weber, who runs for the Northern Kentucky University, was the top male finisher and obliterated last year's course record of 16:41 with a time of 16:02. In second place was Daniel Wolfer who ran a 17:05. The top female was Grace Kelly who ran a time of 19:45 followed by Kamaria Walton who ran a time of 21:11.
