34th Annual Valentine’s Labor of Love 2 Mile Run Recap and Results

Start of the 2014 Labor of Love Run
About 150 runners and walkers participated in the 34th Annual Valentine's Labor of Love 2 Mile Run this past Sunday February 16th in cloudy, cold, wet and windy conditions. The course was wet but manageable.  Daryl Parks of Frankfort KY was the top overall finisher with a time of 10:44 followed by Eric Van Laningham of Burlington Kentucky who ran a 10:51. Julia Temple of Cincinnati OH was the top female with a time of 12:56 followed by Kamaria Walton who ran a 13:16. The top overall mixed couple were the Father Daughter duo of Landen and Collier Summay aka Team Summay with 13 points closely followed by the Father Daughter duo of William and Julia Temple who had 14 points. The top single male runner was Roger Middleton who ran a 10:55 and the top single female runner was Meredith Hiles who ran a 14:18. (Race Results ).
