54 Miles to Freedom Happy Hour - December 10, 2009
A happy hour celebrating Harvey Lewis' recent 54-mile run in Selma! High School history teacher and RCGC Member Harvey Lewis recently ran the 54-mile Selma Civil Rights March, from Selma to Montgomery AL, in under ten hours. As everyone enjoys drink specials, Harvey will talk about the run, his time in Alabama, and his interview with civil rights pioneer Amelia Boynton-Robinson. Focus Media Studios will present a teaser Trailer from the upcoming documentary about Harvey's Run. Come out for good food, great drinks, and hear the story firsthand of Harvey's amazing experience!
