About 50 runners braved the hills, the fallen trees, the mud, the rocks, the slipping and sliding this
past Thursday August 8, 2013 for A Midsummer Night's Trail Run in Mount
Airy Forest. Weather for the Thursday night trail run was overcast with rain and some thunder but the thunder went away at race start and the rain went away midway through the race. There was a new male champion as Matthieu Gancedo ran the course with a a 33:27, and Olivia Connaughton repeated as the top female with a
time of 39:25 and was 4th Overall. Our Top Male Master runner was Bob Jasinski who ran a time of 40:09 and the top
master female was Linda Daigle with a time of 48:14.
