The 45th Annual Summer RCGC Cross Country Series held its 5th race at the Valley View Nature Preserve, near Pattison Elementary in Milford this past Thursday July 12. About 40 runners showed up to race in weather that compared to the prior two weeks made it seem like fall.
David Bea continued his domination of the series with his 3rd win out of 5 races. David ran a time of 16:45 followed by Loveland Sophomore Kevin Garner in 18:34 and Milford Coach Matt Jorden in 18:45. The top female was Sycamore senior Samantha Siler who ran a time of 19:18 followed by Ursuline Sophomore Grace Kelly in 19:47 and Nagel 7th grader Olivia Connaughton in 20:25.
